Calorie Bomb Cocktails

Pina Colada

300 Calories Minimum

Most pina coladas are made up of sugary mixers, artificial flavors, and rum.  This sweet, tasty drink adds up to 300 calories minimum.  You’ll probably consume more calories in this glass than you would with a Big Mac.  Yikes!

Long Island Iced Tea

430 Calories

A Long Island Iced Tea can run more than 430 calories for just 9 ounces.  It’s the combo of rum, vodka, gin, tequila, and triple sec that makes this drink hefty in calories… not to mention get you wasted!

Sangria

Sangria has a lot of sweeteners in it as well as fruit juice, simple syrup, and table sugar, making this a high calorie cocktail.  However, there are benefits to sipping red and white wine.

 Frozen Margarita

500-700 Calories

The least mixed your drink is, the better it is.  This cocktail is extremely mixed, making it highly caloric.

 Frozen Daiquiri

500-600 Calories

Sweet, fruity, frozen drinks are the worst type of cocktails.  A strawberry daiquiri is essentially pure sugar– making it another calorie bomb.

Rum and Coke

250 Calories

The mix between Coca-Cola and rum is high in calories and will give you a sugar high.  Stick to Diet Coke for a lower calorie cocktail.

Chocolate Martini

450 Calories

Mixing a chocolate sweetener with vodka is equivalent to a dessert!  Eat a piece of dark chocolate instead to get your chocolate fix.
