I have been an avid fan of “The Bachelor” for years, but I’ve never seen anything like I did last night. Let’s do a quick recap, shall we?
Both Clare and Nikki meet Juan Pablo’s family, who basically tell them that he’s a jerk. The girls scuff off this information– because clearly, it’s not important. In the next scene, Clare and JP take a helicopter ride. Clare says that Juan Pablo said something inappropriate to her in the helicopter, but forgets his remark after he comes to talk to her later in her room. After sending Clare home, she completely chews him out, which has NEVER happened on this show. GO CLARE! JP then asks Nikki to be his “girlfriend” without offering her a ring.
During ATFR, Juan Pablo is rude to Chris Harrison, won’t tell Nikki how he feels about her, and completely disses the show. He also says that he doesn’t like being in the spotlight, and he hopes that him and Nikki’s life can now be private. If I were Nikki, I would’ve slapped him in the face and walked off set! Geez. But, who’s ready for “The Bachelorette?” 🙂
